Human Services Concentration in Disability Studies
"In conjunction with the Department of Special Education, we have identified a selection of courses you could take that would be beneficial if you plan to work with individuals with disabilities or their families. These courses don’t require demonstration of teaching competence but do provide fundamental information and skills that would allow you to better understand the educational system and interact more effectively with the individuals with whom you work. The concentration in disability studies requires completion of a minimum of 4 courses, but you could complete additional courses."
