Lauren Milne's Background and Experience
![Picture](/uploads/1/2/0/5/12054818/1688945.jpg)
My name is Lauren Milne and I am a human services professional who graduated from Western Washington University (WWU)'s Human Service program with a concentration in disAbility Studies. Before I entered this program I was in WWU's Special Education (P-12)/Elementary Education (K-8) program. I also have an Associates in Arts and Sciences in Elementary Education from Cascadia Community College. I never thought I'd work with youth nor had I considered work that focused on the ability of others--not until I began working for the YMCA in the summer of 2007. As my portfolio grows, I will share the stories of my time at the Y and how it inspired me to seek this area of study. You can also visit my LinkedIn profile here.
