Honors/AP English & Literature Classes
Even though I struggled in school early on, as I stated in my Microsystems, once I learned something I mastered it. Though I was a slow learner with reading, I fell in love with it once I developed the skill. When I was in the 6th grade, my teacher suggested I apply for the Honors program. I easily got in. I continued to take advanced classes through senior year of high school.
Half-Way Friends

Followed Peers from Community College to Western Campus
I met several individuals at Cascadia Community College that were all planning to transfer to Western. I was always fond of the school, but was considering the University of Washington-Bothell campus instead. Having people I wanted to develop friendships with go to Western helped push me to make that decision in the end.
