Culture
I am 100% Catholic. My Irish, Scottish, and French heritages all share this faith. My mother's family is completely Irish (with one French lass, my great-grandmother, Rosalie) and from Dundrum, Dublin, Ireland, so I grew up hearing them rant and rave about the Catholic-Protestant war, and the pains of the Great Potato Famine. I am also influenced by the stories of my Scottish family. They hail from Edinburgh, Scotland. There I can trace back my love of hockey, the strange accent I get when excited, and my relationship with A.A. Milne, creator of Winnie the Pooh. With all of this I am also a member of the oldest Church--Catholicism. For more information on my Catholic culture, you can go here.
Media
As much as I love to talk about how much I hate media, I can't deny that it affects me. In the Western culture, we communicate through media. I am effected by news, politics, music, commercials, movies and television shows, and so on. Even when you hide from it, media has a way of finding us.
