Milne Electric & Technologies, Inc.
This is my dad's company that he built from the ground up. He started the company in 1990 as a one-man team, later took on a partner (who stole money from us) and had an office in our house, eventually got his own warehouse, and now owns an entire building that he uses partly for his company, and partly to lease to other companies. Without this company, I (personally) would have no financial stability. Without this company, I would never have been able to go to college!
Nepa Pallet Co.
This is my grandpa's company, located in Snohomish. I grew up visiting the office building and touring the lumber yard on a bi-monthly basis. We've struggled financially in the past and at two points had our house foreclosed on us. My grandpa has helped us out every time All we had to do was ask.
National Foundation for Celiac Awareness
Celiac Disease runs through my family. My aunt Nancy has the worst case of it and you can read her story here. This history effects my family greatly and, though I am not yet diagnosed with Celiac myself, I am still an advocate for people getting checked.
National Electrical Contractor Association
As an electrical contractor, my dad belongs to Northwest chapter of the National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA). I am not a member myself, but they have given my family and I opportunities to travel to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and elsewhere. They are also the source of my insurance!
The Vatican
As a Catholic, the headquarters of my religion is in Rome, Italy. I have never been there myself, but I hear news, read the historical documents, and listen to its teachings every day of my life.
